Product Specialist Certification Policies

Certified HR Specialist in ADP iHCM UK Programme

The ADP iHCM UK HR & Leave and Absence Product Specialist Certification is designed for experienced practitioners who regularly work with HR and absence processes in iHCM. 

This programme helps users build confidence in key tasks such as
managing employee records, processing leave and sending it
to payroll. It combines self-paced digital learning with hands-on simulations and knowledge checks to support practical understanding. 

Upon completion of all required modules, checkpoints, and the final exam, participants earn a two-year certification recognising their capability in using the system effectively. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Must be a current ADP iHCM UK client with appropriate access 
  • Minimum 6 months of product experience 

Preparation Course and Study Resources 

This is a self-guided learning programme designed for current ADP iHCM UK users preparing for certification in HR. The full programme including digital learning, knowledge checkpoints and the final exam must be completed within 4 months of starting as access expires after this period (4-month expiry: 106 days for preparation + 14 days for final exam). 

The expected time commitment is approximately 6.5 hours in total, including:

  • 4 hours and 25 minutes of digital content 
  • 1 hour virtual instructor-led Q&A session 
  • Two knowledge checkpoint assessments 
  • Final certification exam 

The learning content is structured into distinct modules covering key topic areas. After completing a key topic area, participants must pass a knowledge checkpoint to confirm understanding before progressing. 

Participants must pass each knowledge checkpoint with a minimum score of 80% to gain access to the final certification exam. The final exam can be taken twice at no cost, with additional attempts available for purchase. The programme must be completed within 4 months of assignment (4-month expiry: 106 days for preparation + 14 days for final exam). 

Program Logistics: 

  • Knowledge Checkpoints: These are required before accessing the final exam. They contain simulation and multiple-choice questions and provide targeted feedback to help learners identify areas for improvement. 
  • Confidence Check: Participants are encouraged to only take the final exam when they feel ready. 
  • Final Exam: A blended format combining hands-on simulations and a timed multiple-choice assessment, evaluating real-world application of processes. 
  • Completion: Certification is awarded upon successful completion and is valid for 2 years.

  1. A simulation-based exam (30 minutes) 
  2. A multiple-choice exam (30 minutes)

Certified Payroll Specialist in ADP iHCM UK Programme

The ADP iHCM UK Payroll Product Specialist Certification is designed for experienced payroll practitioners who regularly manage payroll processes in ADP iHCM. 

This self-guided programme builds practical confidence in payroll activities such as updating pay details, managing pensions and statutory information, processing payroll, handling year-end tasks and making corrections. It blends digital learning with instructor-led sessions, hands-on simulations, and assessments to support real-world application. 

Upon completion of all required modules, checkpoints, and the final exam, participants earn a two-year certification recognising their capability in using the system effectively. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

Must be a current ADP iHCM UK client with appropriate access

Refund and Cancellation Policy

ADP provides a flexible refund and cancellation policy. Refunds and cancellations must be requested within 7 business days to receive 100% reimbursement, and are subject to specific conditions, as outlined below:

To be eligible for a refund, you must not have:

  • Accessed or completed any exams.
  • Attended instructor-led training(ILT).
  • Earned a certificate of completion.

Additional information regarding refunds and cancellations

  • Refunds will not be granted for failure to complete study materials or failure to attend instructor-led training(s) when purchased.
  • Access to ILT and practice Exams will be terminated upon refund approval.
  • Course extensions are non-refundable.

How to request a refund

To request a refund raise an eService ticket to your usual ADP representative within 7 days of purchasing the ADP Certification Program. Once your refund request is received, we will send you an email acknowledging receipt of this request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund after 14 days, first check your bank or credit card account again.

Then contact your bank/credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted (up to 30 days). There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
